A: No. You choose the shop that you want to repair your vehicle and if the insurance company wants to do their own inspection, the will come to the repair shop.
A: No. Pick the shop you want to repair your vehicle and ask them to write the estimate. If the insurance company wants another estimate they will send one of their adjusters to look at the vehicle or they will hire a 3rd party damage appraisal company.
A: No problem! Insurance companies understand that there might be additional repairs necessary so they have a system for approving them called a supplement. Supplemental repairs are quite common and usually the insurance company pays supplements directly to the shop.
A: Again, this is very common. The body shop will contact the insurance company and obtain authorization to make the additional repairs.
A: Absolutely. Our staff has over 40 years of combined experience working directly with insurance companies on behalf of our customers. We will work with your insurance company to make sure your vehicle gets repaired properly. We do this knowing that we are working for you our customer.

A: Yes, we offer towing services. Just call our office with the location of the vehicle and we will pick it up and bring it to our shop for an estimate.
A: We offer rental cars & we will assist you with the necessary arrangements. We typically use Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Enterprise is used by most insurance companies & offers free pickup at our location. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy. Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.
A: Yes, we have a convenient courtesy shuttle available to all of our valued customers that runs from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mon- Fri within the Des Moines Metropolitan area.
A: Yes. We give free estimates and appointments are not required. You can come by anytime during normal business hours to get an estimate. For smaller damages just visit our free quote page.
A: Seeing the vehicle in person for a damage estimate is always best. However for small damages you can always go to the free quote page right here on our website.
A: A car insurance deductible is the amount of money you pay out-of-pocket before the insurance company covers the remainder if you’re involved in an accident. For example, if you have a repair bill of $2,000 and your policy carries a $500 deductible, you’ll pay the first $500 and the insurance company will pay the remaining $1,500.
A: Your deductible will be paid to the auto body shop when your repairs are completed.
A: If the other person’s insurance company admits fault and is willing to pay for the repair, it is usually better for you to collect from them. In this case you will not have to pay a deductible and should be supplied with a rental vehicle while your vehicle is being repaired. Discuss this with your insurance agent before making a final decision.
